Writer, podcaster, film archivist.

Mike White is a full-time writer and podcaster based in Detroit, and a film scholar and archivist with an academic orientation toward neglected and misread cinema. He runs Weirding Way Media and the long-running Cashiers du Cinemart and Impossible Funky properties.

He is the author of three books, with a fourth, a critical study of the 1998 film Avengers, under contract with Fayetteville Mafia Press. His short films Who Do You Think You’re Fooling and You’re Still Not Fooling Anybody played festivals worldwide, including the New York Underground Film Festival. He has appeared on screen in The People vs. George Lucas and David Goodis: To a Pulp.
